Payroll specialist

What you'll be doing?

With outsourced payroll processing and under the authority of the Payroll and Personnel Administration Manager, you are in charge of managing and monitoring payroll as well as personnel administration, in compliance with confidentiality rules for executive and employee populations.

You are the preferred contact for La Samaritaine employees in Paris in matters of payroll and social law.
You work closely with the Payroll and personnel administration teams at DFS headquarters, based in Singapore.


Personnel administration:

- Collect the elements necessary to establish employment contracts / amendments and formalities hiring within a scope of 250 people per payroll manager.

- Manage the entry and exit of employees, the movements and modifications of contracts, the drafting of administrative documents, record keeping, classification, archiving.

- Inscribe employees to health and welfare contracts and follow up on files


- Centralize variable payroll elements, control the reasons for employee absences (vacation, absences illness etc.) and liaise with the payroll provider.

- Prepare payroll: check pay slips.

- Ensure the application of social law and labor law

Ideal Candidate

  • Academic training in human resources management (Bac+2/3)
  • At least 3-5 years of management/payroll experience preferably in retail
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Very good interpersonal skills, customer experience, team spirit
  • Mastery of MS Outlook, Word, Excel applications
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Ability to communicate and establish relationships with employees at all levels Strong organizational skills, autonomy, ability to be flexible and define work priorities
  • Ability to handle and confidential matters
