Operation Process Assistant

Internship - Operations assistant F/H

The position :

 

 

Integrated within the DFS Operations Department and in contact with the Store teams, you will help our operations coordinator in her daily missions.

This internship will allow you to have a first experience in accounting/process/administrative within a Department Store.

Located in the heart of Paris, this internship is available from January 2025 for a period of 6 months full-time.

 

 

Your main missions:

 

 

Assist the operations coordinator and the accounting department in the creation of supplier accounts on the COUPA digital purchasing management platform:

 

-Contact a supplier and request the information and documents necessary to create the supplier account.

-Check the conformity of the documents provided in collaboration with the operations coordinator and the accounting department.

-Create a supplier creation form in Coupa.  

-Assist the accounting department and guide vendors through the process with a phone call.

-Make a call to verify information entered by a supplier at the request of the accounting department.

-Save all documents and emails related to supplier accounts in the database.

-Make changes to vendor accounts via the vendor maintenance form in Coupa.

-Classify and archive documents, emails and letters, whether materialized or dematerialized.

 

 

Other potential missions:

 

 

-Assist the operations coordinator in entering one-shot POs.

-Assist the operations coordinator and the accounting department in managing disputes related to late payment of invoices.

 

 

 

The profile :

 

 

Higher education Bac +4/5 business school or university. 



Experience: A first experience in the world of Retail, luxury and/or Department Stores is appreciated. An appetite for accounting and administrative processes.

 

 

Skills :



-Spirit of analysis and synthesis

-Good interpersonal skills and team spirit

-Fluency in English required (daily exchanges with international teams)

-Skilled with computer tools
