Handler W/M - CDI 

La Samaritaine - PARIS 

 

As a handler you manually carry out handling operations for goods, products, objects or materials (loading/unloading vehicles, sorting, cleaning, etc.), according to safety rules.
You participate in simple operations (physical inventory, packaging, etc.) using equipment or handling equipment (lift table, hand truck, rollers, hoist, straps, etc.) that do not require driving authorization
(pallet truck,...)

 

Main missions:

•    Handles inventory in accordance with standard DFS procedures
•    Regularly restocks products in the on-demand sales area
•    Ensures product rotation in accordance with rotation recommendations
•    Groups damaged products from the sales area for updating by the team manager on defective tools 
•    Assists in the destruction of damaged products as needed
•    Assist in raising documents for write-offs and damaged goods per guidance from Product Team Lead
•    Delivery of goods to customers in line with location service and facilities offered (Hotel delivery, Home delivery, etc.) 
•    Assist in the ordering of GWP (Gifts with Purchase) and PWP (Promotions with Purchase) for monthly promotion 

 

 

 

 

Key Requirements

Qualifications/key skills:


-Secondary diploma (college/high school) or equivalent
-1-2 years in logistics or related industry
-Good communication skills
-Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

-Versatility and sense of priorities
-Sense of aesthetics and visual sensitivity
