Labor relation manager

Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources of DFS France, you act as a true Business Partner with the Samaritaine Store Management and the population (about 500 people)
 
Main responsibilities:

  • You are the main point of contact for employees and managers in your area to answer their daily HR questions;
  • You are the main interlocutor of the  managers, about business challenges and priorities you understand, you are a source of proposals, with a permanent concern for their satisfaction, particularly in:
    • The application of social legislation,
    • The disciplinary: you garantee the homogeneity of disciplinary policy and sanctions
    • Management of absenteeism, turnover, etc.
  • You maintain the quality of relations with social partners and with external organizations;
  • You assist the HRD in the management of  social relations (Social comittee, professional elections, etc.)
  • You work with the entire HR team (from recruitment to employees administration, etc.) in order to co-construct the company's social policy
  • You also lead cross-functional projects relating to DFS France's HR policy.

Key Requirements

  • You have at least 8 years of experience acquired in a general HR / legal function, ideally in a retail environment
  • You have an operational approach to your business and are proactive in supporting your scope.
  • You are autonomous, have a sense of priorities, service and demonstrate assertiveness and strength of conviction in your consulting approach.
  • With excellent interpersonal skills, you have the ability to create a partnership with your interlocutors and are experienced in local social dialogue.
  • A professional level of English and French is required.
  • Position based in Paris within the store.
