INTERNSHIP - Store Operations and Process Assistant W/M

    6 months full-time from September 2024
 
 
 
The intern Store Operations and Process Assistant reports to the Operations Manager and supports Samaritaine in its operational transformation.
He directly contributes to optimizing La Samaritaine's results in compliance with the commercial and Image strategy of Maison DFS.
In daily contact with all of the store's sales teams and DFS support entities, he will be a major player in retail modernization, digitalization and tool improvement projects.

 

 

1• Participation in continuous improvement projects for digital tools
 
 
- Support for the implementation of digital and data tools for Sales Managers.
- Participation in strategic discussions of all kinds in relation with business management with a view to improving tools and streamlining Store processes.
- Updating tools, in particular documenting and concluding checkout tests before launching an in-store operation.
- Maintenance of tools in place (monitoring incidents and identifying areas for improvement).
- Daily collaboration with local and global IT teams to respond to Store user feedback (incidents and improvement requests).
 
 
2• Training and field support
 
 
-Construction and updating of training materials.
-Daily animation of the user community (training, communication support, challenge monitoring).
-Assistance in providing information to the various stakeholders.
-Good command of store and cash register procedures.
 
 
3• Management of cross-functional projects
 
 
- Coordination and management of cross-functional projects involving Store teams and Support functions (IT, Marketing, Legal, Purchasing, etc.).
 
 
Profile :

Higher education Bac +4/5 business school or university.
 
 
Experience: A first experience in the world of Retail, luxury and/or Department Stores is appreciated.
 
 
Skills : 
 
 
- Curiosity, pro-activity, field sensitivity.
- Anaytical and synthetical mind.
- An interest to work on technical IT subjects.
- Good interpersonal skills and team spirit.
- Fluency in French and English required (daily exchanges with international teams).
- Good command of Office Pack (Excel, Powerpoint, Word).
