As a member of the DFS Europe & Middle East Finance Department, you will work on the La Samaritaine store, an iconic Paris landmark.

You will be in daily contact with the store's operational teams and with our head office teams in Hong Kong. 

This internship is very business-oriented and will give you an overview of the P&L of the La Samaritaine department store.  

 

Your responsibilities :

 

 

  • Participation in the budget process (Revised, Strategic Plan) and in collaboration with all store teams.
  • Participation in monthly closings, cost monitoring and variance analysis (actual vs. budget).
  • Occasional studies and presentations for the Finance Department or General Management.
  • Forecast and monitor monthly cash flow.
  • Contribute to reporting to the central Corporate Finance team (Hong Kong) and to financial analyses for the LVMH Group.
  • Help set up Power BI dashboards.
  •  Ad hoc analyses: CER (Capex Investment), ROI of in-store marketing campaigns.

 

Profile :

 

 

  • Higher education (BAC +4/5) in Controlling/Auditing/Finance, ideally with initial experience in controlling.
  • Highly autonomous, rigorous and able to take the initiative.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Solid command of Excel. 
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
  • Fluent English.
