Financial Controller

What you'll be doing?

Financial Controller F/H

 

Integrated into the Financial Department of DFS Europe (world leader in the sale of luxury products to international travelers), within the LVMH group, you will work on the Samaritaine store.

Reporting to the France Financial Controller Manager, you will manage the income statement of La Samaritaine.

 

Missions:

 

- You will lead and manage the budgetary processes for Samaritaine (Strategic Plan, Budget, Revised) in collaboration with the central Finance team in Hong Kong.

 

- You will produce financial analyzes for the management committee on various subjects (profitability analysis by marketing operation, investment strategy, monitoring of store costs, etc.).

 

-You will be a business partner of the VP Operations, VP HR and VP Marketing with whom you monitor the evolution of financial indicators.

 

- You will support operational teams (Store, Marketing, HR, Merchandising) in achieving their OPEX monitoring objectives by providing them with appropriate financial information.

 

- You will carry out monthly closings with the production of analysis comments on the entire income statement (Turnover > Profit) in collaboration with the accounting team in Singapore.

 

- You will challenge and validate CAPEX requests and you will monitor the post-mortem performance of approved projects.

 

- You will monitor our cash flows (forecasts and analyses, solvency and financing plan) with the Treasury (Hong Kong) and Taxes (Singapore) team.

 

- You could be involved in DFS development projects as part of calls for tenders.

Ideal Candidate

 

-Minimum 3 years of experience in financial control, audit and/or financial function.

-Operational experience in Retail is a plus.

 

Other knowledge, skills and abilities required:

 

- Strategic agility and ability to manage ambiguity.

- Strong financial analysis skills with strategic vision.

- Practice of SAP, Power BI, Anaplan.

- Organized with great attention to detail.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English.
