Inventory Control Officer

Job Description

Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of DFS Inventory Systems and assist in overseeing the daily physical stock


  • Assist in updating the stock movement to inventory system and ensure data integrity on a daily basis.
  • Preparing inventory and sales reports for management analysis.
  • Ensure the efficient stock delivery from warehouse to end users within a pre-set time slot.
  • Assist in the stock count activities, carrying our investigation for discrepancies and propose precautions to strengthen/streamline the process.
  • Liaise with various departments to follow up and resolve the outstanding damages, IOU and repair inventory.
  • Actively deal with various stakeholders i.e. IT, warehouse, store operation and Singapore share service departments.
  • Any ad hoc matters assigned by management

Key Requirements

  • Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency required; AS400, Query and SQL knowledge desirable.
  • Good Mandarin and English.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Willing to learn and over time working
  • Knowledge in stock count exercise and investigation.
  • Knowledge in inventory accounting.
  • Self-motivated, deadline-oriented.
  • Able to work in a team environment.
