What you'll be doing?

Inventory Management

This is the core function. The specialist is responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock, and supporting the manufacturing process. This includes:

  • Maintaining accurate inventory records in the ERP system.
  • Fulfilling picklists and staging products for projects.
  • Receiving and shipping merchandise.
  • Running shortage reports and fulfilling backorders.
  • Conducting weekly cycle counts.
  • Maintaining stock levels for shop supplies.
  • Processing returns of purchased materials.
  • Assisting in setting and adjusting minimum and maximum inventory levels.
  • Participating in year-end physical inventory counts.

Coordination and Communication

Effective collaboration with various teams is essential:

  • Working with the purchasing team to ensure timely ordering and availability of materials.
  • Coordinating outbound shipments.
  • Communicating with other departments and external contacts.
