Job Description

We are currently looking for a three Beauty Advisors to work in our Customhouse - T Galleria store based in the CBD.
x1 21 hours per week position
x3 35 hours per week position
The role:
If you are passionate about the Beauty industry and are not shy about sharing your beauty tips, you are what we look for as the Beauty Advisor. Every customer you approach will see you as the face of our brand; you will be a critical link between the Product and the Customer. Whilst promoting world renowned skincare, cosmetics and fragrance brands you will advise your customers on the perfect product for their unique skin type and recommend the latest cosmetics and fragrance to inspire and motivate.
Working in a luxury environment as a DFS Beauty Advisor you will take exceptional pride in your grooming, have a passion for people and have excellent communication skills. You will use your wealth of sales and beauty knowledge to promote a wide range of products to our diverse customer group and have a sharp focus on exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Explain the features and benefits of our merchandise in addition to DFS’ service differentiators
- Provide accurate product and shop promotion information to the customers
- Sell to customer's needs and cross-sell other products and brands to exceed customer's expectations
- Demonstrate product on clients’ skin/face e.g. color cosmetics and skincare applications
- Close sale by thanking clients and building relationships to seek opportunities to grow sales in future
- Return cash floats and all necessary documents to close registers and secure sales receipts
- General housekeeping of assigned area, e.g. dusting, straightening and restocking of merchandise, while maintaining full client awareness at all times
- Assist in merchandise inventories as applicable
- Assist in proper handling of merchandise, e.g. maintenance of visual merchandising, testers and brand guidelines
Key Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- 1-2 years of retail experience with accurate and quick transaction handling ability
- Previous retail, customer service, hospitality services, or Luxury brand boutique experience preferred
- Familiar with using the POS Terminal
- Able to work flexible hours as required by the business
- Ability to speak Mandarin is essential for this role
