Marketing Director, Asia South
Job Description
Support the brand vision and positioning through the ownership and accountability for all marketing activities implemented to increase brand awareness and sales for Asia South region including Cambodia, Indonesia, Singapore and Vietnam.
- Identify market opportunities and develop strategies to grow DFS market share
- Leverage global activation calendar to plan, maintain and control local marketing calendar
- Propose new collaborations and drive a rich portfolio of external promotional partners, relevant to our premium travel and shopping experience
- Drive traffic and conversion via omni-channel experience
- Drive innovative concepts and world-class execution in retail activation
- Plan and lead the execution of seasonal in-store promotions programs, find new targeted ways to create appeal for DFS destinations
- Analyze and report on campaign results and KPIs, highlighting successes, trends and opportunities. Maintain a formal process to update and share findings with marketing teams and other stakeholders
- Understand and monitor the competitive landscape and provide insight and recommendations to drive the program business forward as best in class
- Be responsible for delivering results while providing unique experiences and unparalleled service to the traveling consumer
Key Requirements
- BA in Business, Marketing or Commerce, MBA is a plus
- 10+ years in consumer-focused marketing area: Fashion, FMCG, Beauty, Retail or Luxury industry
- Fluency in English language and other language(s) as required by location
- Marketing skills – omnichannel, ecommerce, media planning, partnership development
- Strong leadership skills, sharp, independent, and initiatives, able to seize opportunities and take action
- Proficiency in MS Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook), familiarity with social media
- Presentation skills with comfort and experience in communicating with executive management at all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to interpret business analysis and translate into marketing initiatives
- Strong interpersonal skills. Effective listening and influencing skills in a culturally diverse, team-based environment
