Manager, Retail Marketing & Partnership

Job Description

The Marketing Manager of Retail Marketing and Partnership is to build the division plan to best prioritize the marketing strategy, objectives and tactics to support the business and to maintaining DFS as a Luxury Retail Destination.


Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Identify market opportunities and develop strategies to grow DFS market share of travelling customers
  • Plan, maintain and control marketing calendar of all local marketing activities
  • Digital marketing activities
  • Events
  • Media/PR
  • Partnerships
  • Promotions & Activations
  • Loyal T
  • All other marketing activities
  •  Manage all division consumer facing and internal marketing collateral and communication efforts to reinforce the DFS brand & full product offering
  • Translate global marketing partnerships that help deliver commercial & brands objectives
  • Ensure that Global process are followed for all marketing related activities (Marketing Admin, Finance, Procurement, etc.


Lead Generation/Pre-departure Marketing

  • Propose new collaboration and drive a rick portfolio of external promotional partners, relevant to our premium travel and shopping experience.
  • Partner closely with Corporate marketing and China offices to build awareness and traffic-driving strategies and initiatives
  • Partner closely with Global Digital Team on awareness and traffic driving initiatives


Analytics and KPIs

  • Analyze and report on campaign results and KPIs
  • Manage, plan and control division marketing budget
  • Understand and monitor the competitive landscape and provide insight and recommendations to drive the business


Key Requirements

  • BA in Business, Marketing or Commerce.
  • 5+ years in consumer-focused marketing area: Fashion, FMCG, Beauty, Retail or Luxury industry.  Past experience with brands is a plus.
  • Fluent written and spoken English and language relevant to local market and core customers
  • Marketing skills – omnichannel, production, copywriting, media planning, partnership development.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and able to deliver results.
  • Strong leadership skills, sharp, independent, and initiatives, able to seize opportunities and take action.
  • Proficiency in MS Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook), familiarity with social media.
