Manager, Paid Performance Marketing

Job Description

 

DFS (LVMH group) is the world's leading luxury retailer catering to the traveling public. We are currently seeking a Manager, Performance Media Buy to join our team.

 

Analytical, detailed oriented, intellectually curious individual who is enthusiastic about digital media, has demonstrable experience measuring marketing performance & sharing actionable insights. Self-starters who can work in a rapidly changing industry, tolerate ambiguity, demonstrate problem-solving leadership with limited oversight. Leverage your digital media expertise in driving customers to shop at DFS, together with a dedication to using marketing analytics to drive the strongest marketing outcomes. Manage ecom conversions & channel acquisition campaigns on paid, owned & earned digital channels to exceed KPIs & ROI.
    
DEFINE CAMPAIGN MEDIA STRATEGY 

  • Become an expert on our customers, TR, marketing & competitive trends in global market
  • Lead performance media strategy (SEM, prospecting, retargeting, paid media) including developing & tracking appropriate success metrics, goals & budgets 
  • Creating / executing performance marketing strategy & executions, always on media plans, managing digital prospecting & remarketing campaigns to drive ecommerce traffic / sales conversion
  • Evaluate, prioritize & lead decisions regarding new content, partnership, other tactical opportunities based on expected performance & financial viability 
  • Assure campaign strategies & tactics will be engaging, effective in media channels while maintaining branding
  • Generate segmentation by leveraging current analytics tool (ie GA, Youshu, PowerBi, etc)
  • Performance tests, with alignment of channel owners, ecommerce operations to drive the optimal performance of the media spend, return on investments while optimization for key traffic KPIs via paid, organic & own media channels (incl. livestreaming sales)
  • Working closely with management to share funnel conversion improvement ideas, feedback & present results.
  • Manage media vendors to ensure tracking, reporting & analytics are functioning optimally 
  • Managing budgets & campaigns across all digital channels to drive strong return on investment & efficient COS (cost of sale)

 

MONITOR, ANALYZE & COMMUNICATE INSIGHTS 

  • Continuously monitor campaign performance, communicate activities, actionable insights with other business units / departments on a regular basis to ensure integration support for programs & initiatives. 
  • Ensures that established processes are communicated, understood & followed by key stakeholders outside of performance marketing, i.e. E-commerce operations, CRM, & Creative
  • Analyse data, generate reports/presentations that provide actionable insights, identify growth opportunities in driving traffic, increasing brand awareness & generating sales 
  • Conduct campaign A/B testing strategies for content & copy, while optimize performance across multiple areas (Creative, Editorial, Merchandise, etc.) 

Key Requirements

 

  • 5 -7 years of developing, executing & optimizing large scale performance media plans with budget responsibilities 
  • Bachelor or equivalent required 
  • Knowledge on China landscape & good insights on upcoming trends, especially in social advertising (WeChat, XHS, Douyin, Kuaishou, Bilibili, etc) 
  • Experience on DoubleClick & GA (including flood tag & taggings), quick learner on other tracking tools, adapted for PRC channels
  • Experience in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment with competing deadlines & priorities 
  • Ability to think strategically, leading to thoughtful recommendations, action plans, & drive high ROI 
  • Strong communicator, presentation, interpersonal skills that clearly outline actionable insights with an ability to communicate across different levels 
  • Strategic vision, passion, practice leading digital initiatives that drive integrated multichannel campaigns
