Manager, Digital Sales

Job Description

Work together with global merchant, global marketing team, and divisions, to develop digital sales business in Japan, Mid-Pac and Europe, to drive digital sales and operations for those markets.  To Bring every user into digital and drive sales with digital innovations.

Planning and strategy

  • Take lead to support business model establishment for DFS digital and Omnichannel, working close with divisions and Global cross teams to define key drivers for digital growth
  • Optimize and plan resource and investment to drive business growth with optimal ROI
  • Evaluate efficiency of multiple tactic and mechanisms (coupon, AI pricing, payment discount, promocode, scratch card, Omnichannel benefits etc), to drive insights to share to stakeholders
  • Support digital sales team to drive new initiatives to fuel the growth for digital business, closely work with all key functions in the organization to get aligned with stakeholders
  • Annual Planning for digital sales to meet sales target, to get alignment on KPIs with cross functions
  • Lead the team to plan eCOM(digital sales) monthly calendar with activity for online(dotcom & eShop) and guided shopping channels, and get alignment with division
  • Lead to plan sufficient resources internal and external to support the store growth targets especially for promotion events like 618, Double 11, etc. 
  • Plan and align with digital marketing on traffic plan according to key campaigns/festival, with pre-set KPIs

Digital sales execution

  • Plan and monitor monthly business operation rolling forecast (gross/net sales, orders, etc.) vs. actual and budget
  • Lead the team to ensure digital store operational deliverables, including store level promotion plan and promotion mechanisms (coupon, AI pricing, promocode, GWP etc.) according to pre-set goals
  • Liaise with supporting/service functions internally (legal, finance, logistics, etc.) and externally to ensure the stores are operating to achieve the operation and business targets in transparent and efficient way
  • Guide the team on the daily basis to ensure digital store implementation/execution are delivered following stores operation plan
  • Consolidate input and feedback on function development and integration to consumer experience and product development team to deliver store function upgrade, supporting function integration

Vendor/Cross-functions relationship management

  • Lead team to maintain relationship with different marketplaces counterparts to ensure timely and accurate platform information downloads (e.g. payment gateway cooperation)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skill to guide and influent division and cross functions from strategy, planning to execution
  • Lead contract term negotiation with existing/new vendors & liaise with stakeholders (legal, finance, logistics etc.)
  • Efficiency communication to upper-level stakeholders to get alignment on key initiatives/new ideas

Business review

  • Drive regular report and review with insights on digital store performance internally & externally with key stakeholders
  • Guide the team on market update or competition report
  • Earn learnings from one market to share with others to support other markets’ digital model rolling out

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Statistics / Business /E-commerce preferred with good business acumen
  • Must be digital savvy with 7+ years of solid experience in ecommerce platforms with multiple divisions
  • Critical knowledge & skills including tools, software applications, and language
  • Leadership to manage project milestone and key deliverables, agility to adapt into fast-changing digital industry
  • Luxury market experience preferred with ownership and entrepreneurship to drive new business 
  • Strong problem-solving ability and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective interpersonal/influencing communication, good organizational skills, and highly self-motivated 
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and focused on quality control and execution efficiency
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment 
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese)
  • Willing to travel open to short-term outside based location
