Manager, Brands Management - Store Design and Construction

Job Description

  • Report to the Director Brand Management provide support with on-going strategic initiatives
  • Manage the process of coordinating design development for branded personalization projects at all DFS locations
  • Handle issue of vendor package through to Brand design approval, in support of merchandising initiatives for designated merchandising categories. 
  • Based on category assigned to provide support on all store planning needs of the DFS merchant team
  • Assist with the coordination and issue of vendor packages
  • Coordinate with brand guidelines, design, cost, schedule with stakeholders
  • Liaise and interact with DFS departments, divisions, and external contacts to accomplish project objectives
  • Establish positive rapport with vendors and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate and communicate regular project status report and project flow 
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by the Director Brand Management

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture / Interior Design or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ interior and store design experience; preferably with high end retail store; airports or shopping malls. 
  • Demonstrate know how on technical construction drawings, shop drawing and tender review 
  • Experience in the luxury retail and international business preferred
  • Experience in managing various stakeholders and project management 
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Excellent oral communication skills; good written communication skills; interpersonal and follow-up skills
  • Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp; good to have InDesign and Illustrator 
  • Open to travel and work flexible hours as required by the needs of the business
