Manager, Brand Partnerships
Job Description
Leverage the DFS brand positioning through innovative, holistic marketing initiatives with our brand partners – connecting merchandising and marketing seamlessly
- Proactively communicate the DFS brand message and marketing strategy to the brands and internal partners
- Derive innovative, holistic initiatives with brands to leverage the DFS brand positioning: Partner with brands to develop marketing initiatives that are relevant to our consumers and support sales
- Establish close relationships with the marketing teams of our brands, as well as key internal stakeholders
- Develop and manage seasonal / yearly marketing calendar for the category in close interaction with merchandising and brands (PR, digital, events, promotions etc.)
- Monitor execution of marketing activities according to brand guidelines (marketing functions)
- Central contact person for merchandising team and within marketing department for all merchandise related activities and requests
- Liaise with all marketing centers of excellence to maximize the impact of our brand partners
- Reporting / feedback loop to the brands on marketing activities
- Manage content transfer on a regular basis with brands
- Derive holistic marketing narratives across all functions, Digital, CRM, Creative, Stores
- Conceptualize innovative strategies to meet clear sales and marketing KPIs
- Communicate merchandising strategies to the global marketing teams
- Manage communications and presentations to senior leaders in global brand summits
Key Requirements
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- At least 8-10 years of proven experience in marketing in the luxury sphere
- Knowledge in all facets of marketing and ability to function in a nuanced, matrix environment
- Proven experience in building and maintaining sensitive relationships
- Experience in working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
- Strategic, innovative: Ability to think holistically in partnering with the brands in terms of all facets of marketing activities
- Strong communication skills aAbility to react on specific brand needsnd ability to establish close relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to react on specific brand needs
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
