The DFS Global Technology Team is seeking a technology leader to drive the innovation, design, implementation, and global rollout of DFS’ B2B Partners & Incentives solution. This candidate will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders including product owner, business leaders, IT and external travel partners to enable the product vision. This candidate should possess a balance of product delivery, travel industry business acumen, strong communication skills, and application support experience. The ideal candidate should be results-oriented, eager to learn and with a passion for technology. 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Enable product vision and strategize product development
  • Work with Product Owner to plan roadmap, manage budget and raise capital expenditure requests
  • Manage contracts and statement of work
  • Able to capture stakeholders’ pain points and recommend appropriate solution/approach. 
  • Perform solution review, effort estimates, and costs
  • Manage vendor purchase orders, invoices and payment inquiries
  • Manage stakeholders, vendors, and development team
  • Participate in feature inception, backlog grooming, sprint reviews (or equivalent)
  • Manage technology ecosystem dependencies, delivery quality/issues/risks
  • Engage with subject matter experts, other technology teams to escalate/remove impediments
  • Plan releases for product incremental features
  • Build up and retain knowledge, documentations for product
  • Manage and document incidents, problems and production request tickets
  • Manage support team members and their workloads
  • Lead and drive root cause analysis to problem resolutions
  • Responsible for incident communication plans to stakeholders
  • Enable smooth transition and knowledge transfer between product team and support team for production releases
     

 

Key Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Development or equivalent
  • At least 7 years of experience
  • Agile and ITIL certifications are desirable
  • Agile delivery experience
  • Retail or travel industry business acumen preferred
  • Working knowledge with the following:
    • PHP (symfony), React JS, Java (springboot), MySQL, Microsoft Azure, Alicloud, AWS
    • DevOps tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins)
    • Quality tools (e.g. SonarQube)
    • Monitoring tools (e.g. Datadog)
    • Collaboration tools (e.g. Confluence, Jira)
