Inventory Control Coordinator

Job Description

New Exiting Full Time (38hr) Inventory Control Coordinator position available. Aiming this position to start from January 2024.

As an Inventory Control Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing stock levels, improve effectiveness and productivity as well as ensuring seamless operations within our store. Reporting directly to the Inventory Control Manager, you will be at the forefront of our inventory management efforts. 

 

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

 

Implement and execute effective inventory control procedures, ensuring accurate counts and record-keeping for a vast range of products and apparel SKUs.

Maintain and update the inventory variance report and their record in shared point for every stock take and follow global inventory SOP.

Ensure appropriate assessment and approval of store write offs, transfers, damages, customer claims and stock movement to be approved by Inventory Control Manager.

Conduct regular cycle counts, stock checks and audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Ensure stock shrinkage is minimised by liaising  with Inventory Control Manager and relevant Sales Manager.

Utilize inventory management software to track and monitor inventory movements, ensuring real-time accuracy.

Collaborate with the Inventory Control Manager to develop and implement inventory strategies that align with business goals and customer demands.

Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance inventory control procedures and overall efficiency.

Maintain a healthy relationships with all the stakeholders and suggest effective ideas to resolve the issues flagged by them.

 

Key Requirements

At list 1 year experience as an Inventory Control or similar role.

Understanding of inventory management best practices, including cycle counting, stock reconciliation.

Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office Suite.

Detail-oriented mindset and exceptional organizational skills.

Effective communicator with an ability to build relationships with those around you.

High attention to detail and quality execution.  

A positive ‘can-do’ attitude and teamwork mentality. 

Can cope with competing deadlines and adapt to change.
