Intern, Social Listening, Brand & Campaign Engagement
As a global multi-brand luxury travel retailer, we are looking for a passionate individual to join DFS Marketing team supporting Social Listening and Brand and Campaign Engagement activities.
What you will be doing:
Social Listening
1. Overall Traveler Trends Monitoring:
- Monitor and analyze PRC travel trends and related topics, providing insights into consumer behavior and preferences.
- Monitor and analyze rest of world travel trends and related topics, providing insights into consumer behavior and preferences.
- Identify and report on hot search topics relevant to travel.
2. Social Buzz & Sentiment Monitoring (regular and campaign basis):
- Monitor DFS-related discussions and keywords across various social media channels, track brand mentions, sentiment, and trends across various platforms.
- Develop insights into audience demographics and behaviors in different regions.
- Monitor and recap campaign performance on social exposure (mentions), sentiment analysis, social buzz creation (engagements).
3. Social Insights Analysis:
- Analyze and summarize social media data to identify key insights and implications for key market and key targeting audience.
- Analyze and summarize social media data to identify key insights and implications for global campaign communication strategy development.
4. Category Trend Analysis:
- Track and analyze trends in specific categories including WJA (Watches, Jewelry, Accessories), Beauty, and Fashion.
- Share findings related to audience engagement and content performance within these categories.
5. Duty-Free Market Trend Monitoring & Competitor Study:
- Analyze global buzz and sentiment surrounding DFS, including trending topics and keywords.
- Generate reports on audience sentiment and their perceptions of DFS offerings.
6. Social listening tool management, regular reporting & exploration
- Manage the social listening tools and vendors, explore potential optimizations and add-value reports.
- Maintain social listening dashboard and provide necessary reports.
Brand and Campaign Engagement
1. Assist in Campaign Planning and Execution:
- Support the development and implementation of marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely execution of campaigns.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics.
2. Content Creation and Management:
- Assist in creating engaging content for various marketing channels, including social media, email, and apps.
- Help manage the content calendar and ensure consistent brand messaging.
3. Social Media Engagement:
- Monitor and engage with our audience on social media platforms.
- Assist in developing strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
4. Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on research findings.
5. Event Coordination:
- Support the planning and execution of brand events and activations.
- Assist in coordinating logistics and managing event-related communications.
6. Administrative Support:
- Assist with administrative tasks related to marketing and branding activities.
- Maintain organized records and documentation of campaigns and projects.
Ideal Candidate:
• Obtained/ Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Strong interest in brand management and marketing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
