DFS Finance Internship Program is a 25-week program that provides students with an opportunity to experience the luxury travel retail business and learn about the global finance services before completing their university studies.
 

The internship will be taken from December 2024 to May 2025

 

Responsibilities:

  • Actively assist the team in credit cards and cash collections management in Blackline
  • To liaise and follow up with vendors and customers relating to billings and collections with Robotic Process Automation
  • Review monthly balance sheet schedules and ensure adequate follow-up of aged items
  • Month end journal posting for closing
  • Review and/or prepare monthly reports on receivables and collections
  • Process improvements through automation and process re-engineering

  • Functions of Accounts Receivable and how this function support the DFS business
  • Utilization of SAP, Fresh Service, SharePoint, Power BI, Blue Prism and other systems
  • Hands-on accounting policy and IFRS revenue recognition knowledge
  • Interpersonal and time management skills

  • Business partnering skills with global division 
  • Exposure with global luxury travel retails vendors and customers
