DFS Finance Internship Program is a 25-week program that provides students with an opportunity to experience the luxury travel retail business and learn about the finance controllership & consolidation before completing their university studies.
The internship will be taken from Dec 2024 to May 2025 / Jan 2025 to June 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in handling corporate, indirect tax, tax reporting or transfer pricing related matters of the DFS entities in-charge (for one or more assigned countries), including:
- Corporate Tax / Indirect Tax, withholding tax and transfer pricing compliance (various tax filings)
- Tax reporting matters including preparing of tax provision packages
- Corporate Tax / Indirect Tax queries and /or audit
- Assist with work streams relating to
· SG GST rate changes;
· Assist with GST tax risk review study
· Research/advise on corporate tax / Indirect tax queries from business, where applicable
- Any other tax projects, as required
What you'll learn:

- Basic understanding of tax role and responsibilities in a commercial organization.
