Global Financial Services Intern, Order to Cash (12 weeks)

DFS Finance Internship Program is a 12-week program that provides students with an opportunity to experience the luxury travel retail business and learn about the global finance services before completing their university studies.
Interns with high caliber and outstanding performance will be prioritized and may gain a fast-track opportunity in the DFS Global Management Trainee Program selection process. 


The internship will start on 13th May 2024 and finish on 2nd August 2024. 




  • Experience the latest technology used in the Accounts Receivable function (Fresh Service, Robotic Automation Process, SAP)
  • Learn the billing process and the recording journal entries in SAP system
  • Learn how to apply receipts to customer billings
  • Acquire the knowledge on reconciliations and reports/schedules preparations
  • Participate in the transformation process of our next generation finance into the Centre of Excellence
  • Involve in Business Process Reengineering (BPR) and ad-hoc tasks or projects
  • Develop soft skills through working with business partners and global vendors


What you'll learn:


  • Functions of Accounts Receivable and how this function support the DFS business
  • Utilization of SAP, Fresh Service, SharePoint, Blue Prism and other systems
  • Hands-on accounting policy and IFRS revenue recognition knowledge
  • Interpersonal and time management skills
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Business partnering skills with global division 
  • Exposure with global luxury travel retails vendors and customers
