What you'll be doing?

DFS promises to be the world traveler's preferred destination for luxurious shopping. We offer our customers a carefully curated selection of exceptional products from over 700 of the world's leading brands across multiple categories: fashion, beauty & fragrances, watches & jewelry and wines & spirits. We are currently searching for an experienced and motivated Fragrance Advisor, Coty to work Full-Time in our Los Angeles International Airport store in Tom Bradley International Terminal.  


*This is an hourly, non-exempt, union position. The pay range is $22.25-$24.50 per hour. 


The role: 
As the Fragrance Advisor, Coty, you will be an ambassador of the brand and deliver exceptional customer service to our customers. You will leverage your product knowledge to provide friendly and customized service to all clients. You will strive to discover your clients and their every need, build customer loyalty and relationships while delivering sales and productivity targets. 


  • Provide a unique one-on one consultation; cultivate loyal customers by offering professional advice on fragrances 
  • Deliver high brand knowledge at all times 
  • Answer client inquiries relating to product  
  • Be accountable for the sales results of the fragrance you represent 
  • Close sale by thanking clients and building relationships to seek opportunities to grow sales in future 
  • Accurately ring and process sales transactions in accordance with company’s Cash Handling Procedures  
  • Perform various non-selling duties, e.g. receive merchandise, housekeeping, inventory control, and update price changes 

Ideal Candidate

  • High School diploma or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job 
  • 1-2 years of retail experience; previous beauty, customer service, hospitality services, or luxury brand experience preferred 
  • Comfortable with one-on-one elevated customer service 
  • Familiar with using the POS Terminal; with accurate and quick transaction handling ability 
  • Ability to work flexible hours / shifts, including weekends, nights and holidays. Able to work overtime hours when necessary 
  • Secondary language speaking beneficial, but not required
