Export Administration Coordinator, Australia

Job Description

The Export Administration role is to provide assistance to the Assistant General Manager- Operations in managing the various day to day communication & reporting to facilitate the Export/Sealed Bag system that is an essential part of our operating model in Australia. The role is the main form of contact between DFS & the nominated independent third-party operator and is responsible to ensure the relevant reporting & payments through government agencies and cross functional teams are processed in a timely manner.

  • Responsible to process all relevant reporting and payments related to Export sales
  • Maintains and monitor monthly Export related KPI to Store Management
  • Responsible for all operational aspects of the Export/Sealed Bag process and ensures internal operating procedures are streamlined and kept up to date.
  • Recommends and facilitate initiatives to deliver a consistent service approach for Export sales along the customer journey to minimize Export Misses.
  • Provides support on general administration and invoicing

Key Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Fluency in written & oral English language
  • Prior experience in general administration preferred
  • Proficiency knowledge of Microsoft Office skills essential
  • Sound math skills
  • Strong organizational skills, critical thinking, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work well with personnel at various levels, internally and externally
  • Detailed oriented, ability to work under deadlines and be able to prioritize a heavy workload with multiple deadlines
  • Must have high degree of integrity and confidentiality
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Function as a resourceful and proactive team member
  • Ability to work flexible and rostered hours including weekends when and as required
