Logistics Coordinator
Job Description
- Work with warehouse operations and carriers to develop daily receiving schedules and dock assignments
- Build standing appointments and create inbound shipments
- Coordinate customs entry and document verifications with the Regulatory Control and Finance Departments for all inbound shipments
- Communicating with drivers and internal customers to schedule shipment activities and performing administrative tasks to deliver high-quality service for all parties
- Generate inbound documents for intake in the distribution center
- Identifying traffic problems and/or issues creating appropriate corrective action plans to achieve desirable results on time
- Act as a liaison between Inbound Supervisor and Product Merchants in the notification and resolution of problem purchase orders
- Ensure delivery orders and Shipping & Receiving Reports from Regulatory Control are inputted in the system
- Follow through on outstanding purchase orders deliveries
Assist in other Distribution Center functions when needed

- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize and reorganize workload to meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize time sensitive situations
- Be able to demonstrate attention to details and follow through
- Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of programs including Excel and Word
- WMS experience a must
