Compensation & Benefits Manager (Total Rewards)

What you'll be doing?

Based on an understanding of compensation theory & practice be responsible for the design &implementation of reward initiatives that directly support the achievement of Business and HR strategies across the DFS Group. Working with the wider Reward team the role is accountable for the provision of reward related services to the HR community and business units. These include merchandising, store operations and corporate functions.

 

  • Total Reward includes base salary, short- and long-term incentives, benefits, recognition and mobility.
  • Work directly with the HR teams to develop, implement and embed Group Reward policies, frameworks, guidelines and processes.
  • Analyze & interpret data from multiple internal & external sources drawing insights &recommendations to ensure the overall competitiveness and attractiveness of the DFS employee proposition.
  • Analyze market data/metrics/key performance indicators in order to measure the effectiveness of the Reward initiatives and programme.
  • Work with the Reward and HR teams to plan and implement the annual merit review & bonus cycle.
  • Utilize quantitative & analytical tools to develop models, tools and dashboards that support the design and improve effectiveness of reward plans and programme.
  • Responsible for the planning & delivery of specific Reward projects & initiatives.
  • Continuously review and look for areas of improvement, developing innovative ideas to drivecost and operational efficiencies.
  • Build industry and professional networks to ensure understanding of C&B trends and issues.
  • Key Requirements
  • Degree-educated with strong English communication skills, both written and verbal. Analytical& statistical background an advantage.
  • Strong C&B background, with at least 5 years’ experience in a commercial and/or consulting environment.
  • Experience in the design, analysis and management of innovative reward structures.
  • Innovative, change oriented with experience in design & implementation of reward initiatives.
  • Proven project, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with people from different cultural backgrounds across all levels.
  • Experience of working with Success Factors & Visualization software experience an advantage.

Ideal Candidate
