Assistant Planner, Gifts & Private Label (Global Merchandising) - FMCG

What you'll be doing?

The Assistant Planner supports our Merchandising and Planning teams in their daily business and takes part in projects to drive category performances in collaboration with other teams. He/she will work in one of our brand/category teams and will support the management of Sales, Promotions & Margins, as well as Orders & Inventory.


•    Management of Purchase Orders (POs)
- By tracking and updating orders to ensure timely delivery and stock availability.
- Coordination with brand partners externally, and logistics, data & finance teams internally
•    Support in all pricing-related topics, particularly for our monthly promotional activities
- Creation of Price Changes & Promotions in system
- Follow-up on execution with stores
•    Support in Purchase Forecast
- Stock & Sales management 
- Follow-up with brand partners and providing insight based on market sense
•    Assist in data analysis, including sales trends, inventory levels and performance metrics.
•    Work closely with the Allocation team and stores to make sure stores are fully in stock. 
•    Assist in preparing relevant category reports and presentations for internal meetings.
•    Management of return logistics and other merchandising topics with brand partners
•    Support of ad-hoc and improvement projects

Ideal Candidate

•    University degree is a must
•    Previous merchandising and/or planning and/or retail and/or FMCG experience preferred
•    Excellent at problem solving and handling multiple priorities
•    Consistency, accuracy, and agility are highly preferred work quality
•    Customer focus (internal customer) and interpersonal savvy
•    Enthusiasm to learn and growth in the field of retail planning/FMCG field.
•    Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 
•    Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook
