Assistant Manager, Retail Marketing and Partnership
Job Description
We are seeking an Assistant Marketing Manager to assist to drive DFS marketing objectives and support business priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead coordination and execution of all seasonal and local campaigns, events, instore activations that support the DFS calendar or product exclusive program that help drive awareness, traffic & conversion.
- Loyal T Promotion coordination - maintain the Loyal T promo calendar and issue related store briefs – Global and Divisional. Drive the execution for local Loyal T promotions – business case approval, content creation, communication plan, VM, Store briefing, tracking and recap
- DFS Airport /Hotel Community program coordination, execution & tracking, including database agency management and member communication
- Partnership coordination including Global led payment partnerships and collaborations with Landlord, banks, etc. Maintain calendar, ensure business case in place, store execution (VM, store briefing), communications tracking and recap.
- Lead the planning & buying of all Local Media that support business initiatives (both online and offline).
- Manage all local public relations and store messaging to external press and local KOL’s, working with Corporate PR to ensure consistency with DFS branding and Communications
- Manage Agency relationships including creative, event, media and PR
- Work closely with Global Marketing team to ensure approval of all marketing proposals and related budgets, creative & content, On-line & offline Media planning and content, PR & Events communications
- Ensure all Company processes and admin required (Goble Procurement, Finance, etc) are followed

- Able to effectively communicate and operate in a culturally diverse environment with astuteness and sensitivity.
- Must have high degree of integrity and confidentiality with a keen sense of business/financial acumen
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent preferred.
- 3+ years in consumer-focused marketing, preferably with retail background.
- Marketing skills – copywriting, printing, production, media planning, clienteling, digital marketing
- Proficiency in MS Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook), familiarity with social media.
- Fluent written and spoken English and language relevant to local market and core customers
