Assistant Manager, Performance Social Marketing

Job Description

DFS (LVMH group) is the world's leading luxury retailer catering to the traveling public. We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager, social media to join our team


Analytical, detailed, intellectually curious individual who is enthusiastic about digital marketing & has experience measuring marketing performance, sharing insights. Creating digital & social media strategies, playbooks, ideating innovative campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, leads, traffic & conversion on DFS digital channels/physical stores. Self-starters who can work in a rapidly changing industry, tolerate ambiguity, & demonstrate problem-solving leadership with limited oversight. Manage performance & acquisition campaigns on paid, owned, earned channels to exceed KPIs/ROI. Lead live streaming management with DFS internal stakeholders & external vendors



  • Creating, executing a strong performance marketing strategy/execution plan, managing prospecting and remarketing campaigns, lead digital & social media guidelines, playbooks, provide support, guidance for local marketing teams
  • Executing the vision, strategies to support goals; provide ideas, themes, messaging to reach/surpass projected KPI's & ROI of the strategy
  • Manage agencies to create digital & optimizations strategy, including media buy, social, live streaming, KOL collaboration & track campaign performance with various KPIs including social engagement, O2O conversion, etc
  • Manage budgets across all digital channels to drive strong return on investment & efficient COS (cost of sale)
  • Identifying new channels to continue to meet or exceed established critical metrics
  • Working closely with management to share funnel conversion improvement ideas, feedback & present results
  • Create, execute project manage, optimize, live streaming strategy, including leverage media buy, social, private traffic, KOL to funnel live streaming traffic to sales, ensure all deliverables are on track
  • Design livestreaming promotion scheme, coupon flow & business case to improve live streaming ROIs
  • Optimize livestreaming guidelines, SOW, SOP across internal & external teams
  • Manage vendors, ensure tracking, reporting and analytics are functioning optimally


  • Continuously monitor performance, communicate activities, actionable insights with other departments on a regular basis to ensure integration support for programs & initiatives.
  • Ensures established processes are communicated, understood & followed by key stakeholders outside of performance marketing, i.e. E-com operations, & CRM
  • Analyse data, generate reports/presentations, provide actionable insights, identify growth opportunities in driving traffic, increasing brand awareness & generating sales
  • Conduct campaign A/B testing strategies for content & copy, optimize performance across multiple areas (Creative, Editorial, etc.)

Key Requirements


  • 3-5 years of developing, executing, optimizing digital campaigns, media plans with complex budget
  • Bachelor or equivalent required, project management skill is a must
  • Experience managing cross-functional relationships with internal & external partners
  • Strong knowledge on social media / eComm platforms / KOL insight / live streaming (IG, FB, WeChat, Weibo, Douyin, etc)
  • Experience on social media advertising, content management and KOL relationship, with passion on the most updated digital media trend
  • Experience in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment with competing deadlines & priorities
  • Ability to think strategically, leading to thoughtful recommendations, action plans, & drive high ROI
  • Strong communicator, presentation, interpersonal skills that clearly outline actionable insights with an ability to communicate across different levels
  • Native/bilingual in writing and speaking English, Chinese (Mandarin)
