Assistant Manager, Human Resources

Job Description

The objective of this role is to support HR cost control in accordance with company guidelines to achieve deliverables in this area. Work closely with Finance and HR teams to develop a strategic workforce plan to achieve business goals and will support the budgeting and forecasting process. Also responsible for ensuring compliance in all area of HR, including local employment laws and regulations, salary administration. Ensure timely compliance with reporting local statutory requirements.

 

  • Full knowledgeable in local laws and regulations and ensures total compliance in line with company policies and procedures
  • Implements company policies and ensures consistent application of policies and procedures
  • Ensure HRIS data integrity
  • Coordinates the review process, wage increases and bonus payouts, annual performance evaluations, and management objectives and reviews
  • Prepare summary sheet on annual merit and cost impact Compensation
  • Develop salary proposals for employee salary adjustments or promotions
  • Processes Individual, Team commission and other incentive plans
  • Develop an implementation plan with cost impact to improve employee benefits if necessary
  • Analyze the impact of monthly payroll on the employee cost
  • Support HR and Finance teams in integrating staff cost budgeting and forecasting

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 3 years management/supervisory experience, Retail experience preferred
  • Integrated HR/Payroll systems experience desirable
  • Preferably Microsoft Office Software, advance Excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English
  • Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality
