Assistant Manager, Brand Partnerships
Job Description
Support and drive the DFS marketing strategy to engage with our brands on unique activations and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively communicate the DFS brand message and marketing strategy to the brands
- Support the development of innovative, holistic initiatives with the brands to leverage the DFS brand positioning: Partner with the merchants and brands to develop marketing solutions that are relevant to our consumers and support sales
- Establish good working relationships with the DFS merchants and marketing teams of our brands
- Deliver marketing solutions through project management of the entire campaign cycle – working with the relevant parties (global Centers of Excellence, merchants, regional marketing teams, brand counterparts) in line with DFS brand guidelines
- Analyze campaign results and develop reporting / feedback loop with the merchants and brands
- Manage content transfer on a regular basis with the brands
- Team-up with all marketing team members to support the implementation of seasonal and ad-hoc DFS marketing initiatives
- Manage brand calendar of unique clienteling events, from proposal and ideation to execution
- Assist in the ideation and execution of key DFS eventing moments
- Liaise with external agencies on conceptualization and execution

- Proven experience in marketing and event management
- Basic knowledge in key facets of marketing
- Proven experience in building and maintaining sensitive relationships
- At least 3 years of marketing experience
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- Experience in working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
- Strategic, innovative: ability to think holistically in partnering with the brands in terms of all facets of marketing activities
- Strong communication skills and ability to establish close relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to establish credibility and trust
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to react on specific brand needs
- Experience with negotiation, both internal and external
- Ability to deftly manage multiple internal and external stakeholders
