Systems Analyst, Retail Systems

Job Description

The DFS Global Technology Team is looking for a System Analyst, Retail Systems. In this role, this candidate is responsible for the development and support of business applications. He/She will be managing the business analysis and roll out of retail solution that address business needs. On the role, this candidate will work closely with project management and business support organizations to understand business requirements provided by them. There will also be collaboration with vendor organizations to construct and deliver application systems based on business needs and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business requirement analysis and provide recommendations for business solutions and processes, considering risk management and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Be part of the initial transition period from day-1 product rollout to support operations; conduct timely communication and manage business expectations.
  • Minimize resistance and sentiment of changes by evaluating the impact and removing impediments.
  • Responsible for successful project delivery, on-time, within budget, on-scope and with quality.
  • Utilize industry best practises, techniques and standards throughout entire project execution.
  • Engage product and production support teams to ensure timely resolution to production issues.
  • Working on project basis with other internal departments for successful rollout.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in computer science or related field, with minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in customer/user facing roles in system implementation and project management.
  • In depth knowledge of application systems, business processes and operational issues, preferably in a retail environment
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic environment
