The DFS Global Technology Team is looking for a Retail & Marketing Architect with the primary responsibility to ensure the cohesiveness of the solution across our retail and marketing landscape. This candidate will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders including project team, business and IT stakeholders and external IT partners to take on the business strategy and outlining the technology architecture that can support that strategy. This candidate should possess strong technical and analytical skills, travel industry business acumen, and communication skills. The ideal candidate should be results-oriented, eager to learn and with a passion for technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop an overall retail and marketing IT architecture model that reflects the organization’s strategy and goals
• Evaluate existing internal functions and IT processes to identify areas of improvement
• Manage activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation across different domain initiatives
• Manage technology ecosystem dependencies
• Identify applicable technical standards to be followed to ensure security compliance
• Identify and manage potential delivery quality, issues and risks
• Engage with subject matter experts, other technology teams to escalate/remove impediments
• Set the direction and approach for integrating the information applications and programs to optimize business operations and improve existing IT infrastructure
• Communicate the architecture to stakeholders and collaborate with existing domain architects in the formalization and adoption of IT standards and procedures
• Maintain solution blueprints, landscape diagrams, integrations, functional and data flows documentations
• Deliver cross-domain solutions / projects

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Development or equivalent
• 7-10 years of experience
• Licenses/Certifications required: AGILE, Scrum, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Partners Community Critical knowledge & skills:
• CRM and/or Loyalty domain knowledge
• B2B, B2C, B2B2C experiences
• Retail or travel industry business acumen
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Possesses a positive attitude and is able to interact and collaborate with business users, technical teams and vendors
• Good command of English, both written and oral
• Agile delivery experience
• PHP (symfony), React JS, Java (springboot), MySQL
• DevOps tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins)
• Quality tools (e.g. SonarQube)
• Enterprise solutions
• Strategy development
• Good understanding of the Chinese market is a bonus
• Experienced in using work management and collaboration tools such as Confluence, JIRA and Slack
