To assume full functional control of specific projects from the planning stage until final completion and delivering on time and within allocated budget. The main objective for the position is to ensure that projects are conducted in compliance with internal and external framework and delivered on time based on reliable and comprehensive information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate with external consultants to facilitate design, cost planning and reporting, management of third parties (for example landlord agents/contractors)
• Set up a Project Management organization across internal stakeholders and co-ordinate with internal departments to ensure design, merchandise and operational requirements are addressed
• Set up a clear cadence of meetings to ensure seamless and transparent communication on all project related matters
• Develop a critical path for each project highlighting key project priorities, key dates, resources requirements and deliverables and to maintain such control documentation on an ongoing basis
• Ensure strict compliance with all legal requirements associated with business development activities.
• Communicate design, construction & overall project programs to both internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure delivery of DFS standards in both process and finished product as well as timely follow up and resolution of any issues
• Actively participate in the cost planning and ongoing cost review during the life of a project
• Actively participate in the tendering and value engineering process for supply of services and contractors
• Actively participate in initiatives to improve productivity and environmental impacts.
• Ensure comprehensive and accurate information is communicated to vendors in all forms of correspondence
• Coordinate with vendor contractors
• Ensure compliance with DFS principles and policies through all dealings with business partners
• Provide reports on a regular basis for senior management review in relation to project status
• Be prepared to positively embrace any changes that may arise to address the dynamic and evolving nature of luxury retail

• Knowledge of Luxury brands and where they originated from.
• Understanding of and commitment to embracing the evolving and changing nature of retail design and construction.
• Strong desire to work as part of a small experienced team.
• Understanding of construction processes and high-quality interior finishes.
• Ability to understand construction drawings
• Desire to continually strive for improvements in project delivery in terms of process, budget, and timeline.
• Ability to communicate in a professionally acceptable manner, both written and verbal, with consultants and contractors alike Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Construction Management, Architect, Design or related field or 5 years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential job functions of the job.
• Work Experience: 3 to 4 yrs. Project Management experience in either store planning and implementation for a Luxury brand retail organization; or a construction company specializing in retail construction; or within organization related to Luxury retail design, planning and implementation; or within design firm with experience in retail design and visual presentation.
• Strong understanding of the relative value of different kinds of information and strong analytical skills
• Ability to understand / interpret international legal environments, government policy and market scenarios to develop market entry strategy Other Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong team player, with exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to work with teams across diverse functions
• Outstanding presentation and business report writing skills are essential
• Creative thinker with a track record of problem solving
• Strong proficiency in MS Office applications - Project and Excel
• Licenses Required: Valid driver’s license.
