NAM and HAW Division responsibility for maintaining an effective system of internal accounting and controls necessary to safeguard and ensure accountability over the company’s inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for inventory accuracy and the IC officers/team in the stores & warehouse
• Month end reporting of inventory accuracy and stock loss
• Financial audit reporting and Regulatory inventory reporting required for Government or Customs authorities
• Create and maintain current all standard operating procedures for Inventory control duties
• System Reconciliation (WRX vs MCS, SAP vs Insight vs MCS)
• MCS Users Access Administration, user creation, account maintenance and location setup or SAP mapping -following the region specific requirement
• Oversee correct sales postings and sales reconciliations have taken place to ensure no impact on inventory accuracy
• Analyze stock discrepancies and stocktake results in order to put in places processes to mitigate stock losses
• Prepare a master stock count calendar for Stores and warehouse
• Super user of MCS & Stocktrax and responsible for training of staff on inventory best practices and systems access
• Prepare, review and distribute reports on Aged inventory, and inventory discrepancies
• Approve Inventory write-off and stock take schedules
• 1st point of contact for the Regulatory teams on any inventory related matters
• Review/Advise/Resolve Inventory Issues with Key Stakeholders: DC/Stores/Merchants and Global Finance
• SKU setup in MCS and coordinate with Global IT
• Assist to coordinate and support the execution of Special, Staff, Seasonal clearances & Damaged goods sales
• Develop and implement metrics of inventory accuracy and inventory compliance
• Coordinate inventory counts and stock verification procedures
• Perform systems transfers between MCS location or transferring of goods between 1 SKU to another ( SKU to SKU transfers)
• Schedules procedural reviews of audits to store and warehouse locations. Follows up on Corporate internal auditor’s recommendations and compliance with (MAP) relating to Inventory Control. This includes documentation of compliance and status updates for submission to senior management on a timely fashion.
