The CTO provides strategic leadership, structure, planning, and goal creation for quality enterprise systems landscape and financial management of DFS IT. The CTO directs and manages the System Planning and Operations Organization (mid-range), Infrastructure team and the overall IT budget process. These organizations operate in order to ensure the development and implementation of cost-effective systems and efficient computer operations to meet current and future business operations requirements. As a corporate officer, provides companywide direction in areas of policy and planning for enterprise systems. Working with a community of Regional CTOs within DFS Group (Asia South / Asia North / ME / Europe / US), the Global CTO will provide the guidance and influence from Corporate LVMH CTO, DFS CIO, DFS IT VPs to position and structure continuous operations and technical directions for projects, operations and controls as well as agility towards DFS Global technical strategy and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Positioning
• Develops and maintains close working relationships with key business partners through written, verbal and face to face meetings
• Leverages relationships to •Promulgates greater understanding of business objectives, requirements and issues as they relate to our application suite throughout the IT organization •Propagates better understanding of IT capabilities, goals and objectives across DFS •Being a trusted business partner
• Actively influences business strategies based upon what’s possible from an IT standpoint
• Pro-actively identifies opportunities to exploit IT systems to better meet business needs
• Responsible for the development of IT strategy, specifically exploiting business knowledge and current systems to ensure that IT strategy compliments business strategy
• Be a key member of DFS CIO Office meetings to represent Global Technology positions
• Be a key member of LVMH CTO community where DFS as a major subsidiary must be able to lead, carry opinion for the group and the DFS at large
• Defines solutions that leverage the existing systems, while positioning these solutions to align with the future business and IT direction of DFS
• Manages the portfolio of software applications and technologies
• Manages the portfolio of consulting services and partners
• Builds and maintains relationships with third party vendors
• Develops subordinates and peers internal / external
• Continuous oversight and influence to DFS technical posture for cost and agility
• Seamless engagements with CISO organization for 2 way best of world where security and technical positions are well engaged, positioned and delivered for DFS
• Manage to a zero technical debt position where no technologies are obsoleted and not supported
• Manage a why-not Cloud position to continuous evaluate and position all hosting assumptions Organizational Accountabilities
• Accountable for the strategic definition and direction of organizations within scope (See purpose)
• Accountable for the roles and responsibility definition, position fulfillment and personnel development within organizations
• Accountable for the IT CAPEX budget management
• Accountable for IT project portfolio tracking
• Accountable for the IT OPEX budget process and procedures
• Accountable to ensure organizations within responsibility comply with internal and external audit requirements and agreed to recommendations
• Accountable for the Systems Operations Planning and Administration organization providing and supporting a responsive, reliable and robust IT operations infrastructure and to address ongoing business needs.
• Ensure that the IT operations framework is reliable, and that core Services are properly managed on a global basis: Core Infrastructure Areas •OS and Middleware Administration •Systems Backup and Recovery, BCRS •Global Data Center / Global Cloud hosting and operations •24x7 Data Operations including job monitoring •IT Operations Budget •Related Maintenance, Support and Leasing Contracts •Responsible for mid-range systems procurement and maintenance •Creates long-range plans and strategies for infrastructure implementation and support. •Continually improves IT operations and support model for key business systems to achieve cost effectiveness and higher productivity. •Implements and manages SLAs for IT Operations Support in compliance with KPIs that will provide IT service quality, reliability and robustness in line with business needs and expectations. •Maintains and defines strategic relationships with vendors for sustained Quality of Service •Ownership and management of IT Operations costs to meet financial objectives (within budget and achieve IT KPIs). •Identifies and hires personnel and consultants to address and fulfil strategic objectives

Key Requirements:

• Degree in business/technical area; advanced degree preferred, with minimum 15 years of relevant experience
• At least 5 years’ experience managing business units
