Work directly with the Vice President - Strategy & Market Development to manage business and data insights for the company. Identify opportunities for growth, lead analysis and research, and assist/lead in development of strategies for actionable measures to capture the opportunities– ranging from corporate-level business functions (including marketing and merchandising) to market-specific store operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Research and Analysis
• Conduct in-depth analysis of macro and micro environment, global tourism dynamics, luxury and travel retail trends and advise on impact to the business
• Share market intelligence and consumer insights with relevant business units, assisting with analysis of impact when appropriate
• Work closely with research consultants for ongoing or ad-hoc research Strategy Development, Consulting, and Project Management
• Identify and analyze strategic business opportunities using rigorous quantitative analysis integrated with consumer insights, being agile to lead at times and to assist at others on strategy development
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to bridge research with actionable insights and recommendations
• Assist with consulting or project management of ad-hoc cross-functional projects Reporting and Communications
• Assist with the production of regular internal reporting and presentations for LVMH board
• Support internal stakeholders with intel and analysis where relevant

Key Requirements:
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or statistics desired; advanced degree a plus
• 5+ years in a consulting or research environment highly desired; Project management experience a plus; Strong strategic planning background a plus; Understanding of key commercial aspects of retail or FMCG a plus
• Advanced Excel and Power Point skills a must
• Excellent written and oral communication skills (Fluent English is a must. Native Mandarin written and spoken is a plus)
• Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data and translate into actionable insights/recommendations; natural problem-solver; Ability to translate ambiguous business challenges into concrete action plans and recommendations
• Positive, pro-active and flexible work style and can work under pressure
• Strong communicator who is comfortable working with a range of internal stakeholders – senior management, store operations, marketing, merchandising, etc.
