The Corporate Internal Control Manager is a new role and will be in charge of rolling-out the existing Internal Control Framework at DFS Corporate functions (Merchandising, Marketing, Finance, HR, IT, Construction,…). His/her main objectives are: - to reinforce the general control environment at Corporate level by implementing preventive, detective and corrective measures, and to conduct periodic audits of Corporate processes to ensure compliance with group policies -These tasks will be accomplished through close partnership with Corporate Departments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Improve the overall level of internal control in all Corporate Departments. - Review SOPs to ensure adequacy and completeness, and propose improvements where gaps are identified. - Launch internal control and anti-fraud initiatives. - Conduct periodic audits in all Corporate Departments as per the audit plan. - Track internal and external audit findings and ensure prompt resolution. - Implement internal control reporting tools and dashboards. - Participate in any ad hoc projects as assigned by the VP Risk Management. - Identify training gaps, create and implement training programmes that are aligned with the business needs and strategic objectives to support compliance and internal controls.

Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required in accounting, finance or business administration - 5-8 years’ experience in Big 4 and/or in retail multinational companies working in internal control designs, operations or internal audit. - Proficient spoken and written English. Chinese would be advantageous. - Aptitude to analyze and work with large amounts of data. - High degree of integrity and confidentiality. - Able to effectively operate in a fast paced and multi-culturally diverse environment. - Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills. - Confident, do not shy away from conflict and is comfortable working in teams. - Ability to work with all levels of personnel, drive best practices where multiple stakeholders are involved and interact with Senior Management.
