Job Description

The Team Lead - Personal Shopper assists the Client Services Manager with daily store operations, to include supervising Personal Shoppers to deliver business objectives in sales, luxury selling, service, productivity, and merchandise presentation. This role monitors staff behavior to ensure that established policies and procedures are followed by sales staff to deliver Luxury Selling standards. The Team Lead- Personal Shopper provides input for performance reviews as well as for recognition and disciplinary actions. The Team Lead - Personal Shopper is driven to exceed expectations on both sales and performance through clear and concise communications with management team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct staff in daily activities to maximize sales and promotional strategies.
• Ensures positive working relationships with new and existing employees to facilitate team selling atmosphere to maximize customer spending.
• Provides ongoing training for all employees in Luxury Selling; to include Product Knowledge, systems and procedures, and sales presentation techniques.
• Communication link between management and staff.
• Helps with the coordination of private showings/champagne receptions, inclusive of special order requests, other requested services to ensure customer satisfaction for maximum impact and sales volume.
• Assists in the collection and preparation of any daily, weekly, and/or monthly data reporting on our VIP clientele records as necessary.

Key Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Bachelors degree specializing in hospitality or service related industry preferred.
• Secondary language speaking in Chinese or Japanese is beneficial, but not required.
• Experience in serving VIP clients and 1-2 years of leadership experience in a luxury setting preferred.
• Previous retail, customer service, hospitality services, or Luxury brand boutique experience essential.
• Key competencies include: strong interpersonal skills, solution based, energetic, team oriented, ability to multi-task, composure under pressure, keen to learn.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work well with people at various levels.
• Function as a resourceful and proactive team member.
• Must be able to have a flexible schedule as required by the needs of the business.
