Job Description

This is a new role within the Global Tax team. The candidate will be responsible for various transfer pricing matters within the Group, as well as play a key role in developing, implementing, maintaining, testing and defending the Group’s transfer pricing policies. He/She will have the ability to work in a dynamic and global tax team atmosphere as well as interact closely with multiple DFS business teams worldwide. The candidate will also be involved in various projects during DFS digitalization journey.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Transfer pricing: - Manage global transfer pricing matters including policies, audit and defence strategies. Interact with business teams to identify and analyse implications of new and evolving business initiatives and priorities - Provide expertise on tax and/or transfer pricing controversy matters, collaborate with tax team members to build and maintain effective transfer pricing defence strategies with local country tax authorities. - Provide insight and trends around global tax and/or transfer pricing development, and play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and implementing tax planning opportunities. - Integrate processes, procedures and technologies to enhance compliance quality and efficiency, support data compilation for transfer pricing study for group file, local file and CbCR. - Manage timely communication with key internal and external stakeholders e.g. senior management, external auditor, Tax Advisory Group, etc. -Work closely with DFS tax members to evaluate impact of transfer pricing changes on business operations and on the Group’s tax position. In-house technical SME for all aspects of transfer pricing including providing tax leadership and guidance that supports the development and engagement of internal DFS teams. 2. Project Management - Coordinate with internal teams and third parties or vendors for the smooth execution of DFS tax and other projects. - Assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical analysis and feasibility. - Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews. - Measure performance and meets financial objectives e.g. by forecasting tax requirements. - Anticipate, manage and communicate tax risks as necessary. 3. Coordinate and collaborate with offices in multiple time-zones 4. Ad hoc projects as assigned

Key Requirements:
- Recognized Bachelor's Degree, CPA Preferred - Strong research and technical skills with experience covering a broad range of tax matters. - Experience with international transfer pricing dealings, leading complex and cross-functional projects. - Confident communication skills with an effective style to reach various stakeholders regarding tax and transfer pricing, trends and insights - Ability to work independently in a “hands-on” environment, work collaboratively as a team player in a dynamic environment, effectively manage multiple priorities
