Job Description

The Senior Specialist Consumer Marketing supports marketing activities through the planning, organization, and implementation of in store promotions and activations under the guidance of the General Manager and the Consumer Marketing Manager to contribute to the company’s profit maximization and increased traffic and spend.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible and accountable for executing the approved global and local campaigns, promotions and events in line with the annual marketing calendar.
• Serves as contact with local media partner and agencies to ensure store and campaign exposure reaching the target audience with effective content.
•Serves as contact with global digital team to ensure new tools and projects address local needs and equipped with correct marketing messages.
•Serves as contact with store Visual Merchandise team to ensure the proper space is dedicated and set-up is installed supporting the promotions on time.
•Monitor the campaign effectiveness and collate sales and productivity results relating to the promotional period.
•Analysis of results to identify successes, opportunities for improvements and future implementations.
• Ensure location teams are well briefed and that appropriate levels of supporting collateral are available to support the promotion effective date.
•Control and maintain marketing calendar for all events, projects, and deadlines. Assure that marketing calendar and activities remain focused on strategy and business objectives and activities/timing are coordinated to maximize efficiency.
• Responsible for the communication, preparation and seamless execution of approved promotions in the location.
•Remain in close contact with Global Merchant team on promotional calendar, and with Assistant General Manager (AGM) Sales, AGM Operations for planning and implementation of promotional activities to maximize sales productivity.
•Ensure the appropriate levels of supporting collateral, including Gift with Purchase (GWP) and Purchase with Purchase (PWP) are available to support the promotion.
•Effectively and accurately administrate the process in negotiating with vendors regarding budget and other details, in line with internal procedures for collection and reporting.
•Responsible for DFS internal budget administration processes, closely monitor the planned and actual spending with vendors and local/global finance team.
•Drive the achievement of company vision, store sales targets and strategies for those objectives.
•Ensure annual objectives are in place and focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences and increasing staff productivity.
•Provide effective leadership on promotions through open communication, training, coaching and active encouragement to meet or exceed location sales and profitability targets.
•Support all marketing related tasks when needed.

Key Requirements:
- Educational Requirements : College or University Degree, preferably in Management, Business or equivalent, but not essential. - Work Experience : 2+ years in Marketing field required. - Critical knowledge & skills including tools, software applications, language, etc.Strong command of English language, written and spoken Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Mandarin speaking is a plus - Able to effectively communicate and operate in a culturally diverse environment with astuteness and sensitivity - Must have high degree of integrity and confidentiality with a keen sense of business and financial acumen
