Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Director, Global Stores, you will be part of an integral team in monitoring and analysing store expenditures and management of the capital expenditure request for the global store operation. You will assist the Director to centrally manage all financial planning and analysis activities for the business, with a primary focus on expenditure control, to improve the insights and key cost drivers from those analysis in order to drive business performance and sound decision making.

Key Responsibilities:
Expenditure reporting and Analysis
• Monitor the actual expenditure vs target and highlight any overspend issues to division management.
• Develop relevant financial model, dashboard reporting that focus on cost benchmarking across similar size doors and identify areas of cost saving, ensure proper KPIs are set for all controllable cost components and devise action plans with division finance leaders accordingly.
• Support the Finance Director and work closely with Global leasing team on occupancy cost management, lease negotiations and scenario analysis.
• Work closely with cross department teams, such as corporate FP&A, marketing, merchandising and logistics in all budget preparation process.
• Track E-commerce sales and redefine key KPIs for budget monitoring purpose and review the cost model where necessary.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties requested by the Finance Director. Capex Management
• Support the Finance Director in review and management of the store CER and verifying key inputs from merchandising, store development and division finance teams.
• Track the status of each CER and ensure proper approval adjust the full year CAPEX spend where necessary.
• Ensure the transparency of store temp expenses from store planning and share the expenditure schedule with all division finance.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years related work experience in financial analyst in a sizable commercial organisation. Experience in E-commerce will be an advantage.
• Strong Microsoft PC based applications – Word, Excel (including use of macros and database management) and PowerPoint required. Microsoft Strategy and Power BI knowledge required.
• Good command of the English language and excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyse a business both statistically and conceptually. Strong quantitative skills.
• Ability to format analytical works into presentation forms.
• High degree of integrity and confidentiality with a keen sense of business/financial acumen.
• Ability to work under stringent deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Accuracy and attention to detail.
