Job Description

Working directly with the US Finance Manager in supporting the division to assist in managing business performance and commercial segment for the division with key focus on financial planning and store analysis. *Inter-Division Expressions of Interest are welcome*

Key Responsibilities:
I) Analytics and Forecast
• With the guidance of the Senior Finance Manager, look to identify risks and business opportunities. Provide recommendations to the management to improve profitability and operational efficiency
• Utilize historical data and research on factors affecting sales to forecast sales trends to improve short- and long-term planning
• Sales and profitability analysis on regular and adhoc promotions
• In conjunction with the Senior Finance Manager, review of expenses and budget monitoring including capital expenditure and cash flow II) Store Analysis
• With the guidance of the Senior Finance Manager, support on sales forecasting, trending and explanations
• Support operational and project decision making through financial analysis
• Partnering with Merchant team/Retail Marketing on analysing areas to improve gross margins through right level of promotions
• Conduct month end variance analysis on sales, rent and variable cost.
• Create and maintain reports to support business objectives, daily operations and needs as they develop
• With the guidance of the Senior Finance Manager, review concessions and report of risks. III) Budget, Strat Plan and Investments
• Work in conjunction with various business partners (e.g. store teams, marketing, etc) on forecasts, budget and strategic planning s well as month end landing.
• Support the preparation of CER store and DME capital expenditure request and work with Global Store Finance on the approval process

Key Requirements:
Educational Requirements University graduate in Finance or Accounting related discipline with ACA / CPA qualifications Work Experience 2-3 years minimum working experience in business consulting, analysis and operational support in sizable companies; preferably in retail consumer products / fashion field Licenses / Certifications - Critical knowledge & skills including tools, software applications, language, etc.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word; knowledge in SAP a plus, Power BI
• Strong analytical skills and in financial modelling
• Fluent in English with excellent presentation and communication skills Other Qualifications / Core Competencies
