Job Description

DFS is embarking on a digital transformation with employee experience being an important pillar of this rapidly evolving and dynamic journey. As such, DFS is seeking for a motivated, and innovative self-starter individual to build a robust state of the art collaborative digital workplace ecosystem for all DFS employees worldwide and a modern Windows 10 Point of Sales (POS) system for all stores. The candidate’s experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining a productive, agile, and collaborative digital workplace based on a foundational Windows 10 and Mac OS infrastructure is important. The candidate should come with hands on experience and strong knowledge on latest Microsoft technologies (Windows 10, Windows as a Service deployment processes, Office 365 Suite) and Apple technologies management. Have a good grasp and understanding of industry leading end user computing tools and environment, especially experience in evangelizing industry best practices on the appropriate usage of the tools. Work closely with application teams, support personnel, and global infrastructure colleagues to manage through the pressure associated with mission critical programs and the ability to deliver succinct, impactful, and professional communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical lead for Digital Workplace team, overseeing all technical aspects of the Digital Workplace ecosystem and ensuring maximum efficiency.
• Continuously modernize the Digital Workplace ecosystem and ensure that every component of its lifecycle is well managed.
• Provide oversight and technical direction to the team members and external vendors in accordance to the team and organization's policies and procedures.
• Oversee the maintenance on all living documentations of the team.
• Translate requirements into technical goals that can be delegated onto the team.
• Empower team members to take responsibility for their objectives. Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback.
• Manage/coordinate projects and initiatives assigned.
• Contribute and collaborate proactively as a member of the global infrastructure team.
• Perform configuration and daily operational activities, while providing last level technical support and knowledge transfer for team members on Digital Workplace domain; Including but not limited to the following: •Unified Endpoint Management •Endpoint Protection Suite •Image Creation and Deployment Tool •Workstation Windows Client OS Image •POS (Point-of-Sales) Windows Client OS Image •Microsoft O365 Suite •Microsoft Active Directory and Domain Services •Video Conferencing •Virtual Desktop Infrastructure •Identity and Access Management

Key Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required : At least a bachelor’s degree in computer science from a renowned college or university At least 5 years of experience in Windows Client Operating System, Endpoint Protection, Active Directory, O365 Suite, Unified Endpoint Management. At least 2 years in a related team supervisory, lead, or management role. Familiar and comfortable with change management processes. Experience managing external vendors to deliver exceptional value an added advantage. MCSA/MCSE and ITIL an added advantage. Working experience with MSI, Application Packaging/Deployment processes and methodologies. Extensive knowledge of PC Imaging Deployment, Patch Management, Software Distribution (LANDesk/Ivanti or equivalent). Ability to script using basic OS included command shells (PowerShell, Bash, etc.). Fluency in English language. Core Competencies: Effective communication skills Strong analysis and design background with sound documentation experience In-depth knowledge of custom actions, scripts, scenario-based solution, and regressive troubleshooting in Windows Client Operating System Proficient in troubleshooting skills
