Job Description

Achieve brand and department sales objectives utilizing DFS’ Apprentice to Master techniques, building customer loyalty and developing relationships. Create a memorable, luxury service environment for our Customers throughout their entire experience. The Fragrance Advisor (FA) nurtures the development of relationships with the customer, integrating promotions, products, services, and events to maximize the customer’s experience ensuring that DFS is the Global Traveler’s preferred destination for luxury shopping. Advisors are empowered to create unique, memorable, and personal experiences for our customers by providing the highest level of service. As the expert brand representative, a DFS Fragrance Advisor offers knowledge about product features and benefits, application and instruction for proper use to obtain maximum results.

Key Responsibilities:

•Participates in event strategies as applicable by brand.
•Generate or create activity to recruit customers to the counter in an animated way, based upon traffic patterns.
•Assists in developing clientele base through Platinum Services Club (PSC) and other relationship building activities.
•Committed to achieving brand and department sales objectives.
•Provides luxury customer service to include approaching/engaging, identifying customer’s types and needs, explaining the features and benefits of our merchandise in addition to DFS service differentiators.
•Provides accurate product and shop promotion information to fit the customer’s needs.
•Offers appropriate solutions and cross-sell other products and brands to exceed customer's expectations.
•Demonstrates product on customers skin/face including color and skincare applications.
•Returns cash floats and all necessary documents to close registers and secure sales receipts, as applicable.
•Proactively seeks to develop and maintain professional relationships with customers.
•Maintains a smart and well-groomed appearance (as outlined in the DFS Grooming Policy) in full DFS uniform to convey a .
•Performs various non-selling functions such as receiving and checking merchandise, housekeeping, and visual merchandising in order to maintain effective retail operations and other duties, as assigned by a manager.
•Responds to customer queries and complaints in a polite and courteous manner - refer to the manager or Manager on Duty, as appropriate.

Key Requirements:

•Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
•Work Experience: Minimum 1 year sales/cashiering experience in retail (cosmetic or other), hospitality, customer service, or luxury brand boutique experience preferred.
•Licenses/Certifications: Beauty or Fragrance training a plus.
•Critical knowledge & skills, including software applications, languages, etc.
•Proficient in operating a POS register machine and mobile POS.
•Language: Mandarin/English speaker a must.
•Good organizational skills, self-starter and highly motivated.
•High energy level and positive approach to job and group responsibilities.
