Job Description

The F&B Operations Manager overseeing the food & beverage operations provided by tenants within the Galleria, ensuring the high level of service standards, food quality and restaurants hygiene standards are met as required by DFS. He/she is a key member of the Operations team, responsible for taking care of the many and varied components that are essential behind the scenes to keep the operation going. Job holder is responsible to establish and monitor the operations policies/procedures and ensuring alignment with food & beverage tenants/providers. Other responsibilities include managing the floor and facilities maintenance and housekeeping. Job holder will directly report to Assistant General Manager, Operations of the Galleria.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle tenants relationship for T Galleria Canton Road with new /existing tenants
• Monitor the operation of the F&B tenants and ensure they can deliver the highest quality product and are in compliance with DFS polices and procedures as well as brand image
• Make new restaurants opening plan in line with business development strategy, coordinates and manages timely executive of development plan by working closely with internal parties, tenants and landlords
• Collaborate with internal parties and F&B tenants to implement business strategy and marketing promotion, and to achieve the company’s goal
• Collect the operations data & establish reports for monitoring operations status
• Work closely with the F&B tenants and Operations team from time to time to ensure smooth workflow in coordination on every aspect
• Collaborate with different teams to ensure strict compliance with all relevant Hygiene and Safety legislation and requirements

• Coordinate site construction with F&B tenants and estimate predictable risks
• Consistently improve the business terms of existing tenants
• Perform any other duties as requested in a diligent and conscientious manner

Key Requirements:

• Restaurant Management or Food Operations (including food safety) related degree holder is preferred. Management, Business or equivalent degree holder will also be considered
• 3+years in retails operations environment or F&B industry is preferred
• Experience in follow up with tenants agreements and workflow of lease documents
• Able to work under stringent deadlines and high pressure and be able to prioritize a heavy workload with multiple deadlines.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work well with personnel at various levels.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
• Function as a resourceful and proactive team member.
• Must be able to have a flexible schedule.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong analytical skills; ability to work with complex issue.
• Able to make sound decisions with relevant facts at hand. Does not shy away from conflict.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and on weekends and outside of regular office hours, if required.
