In this role, you will need to have the in-depth know-how on data protection laws and practices in HK, European, P.R.C. and other countries and regions, as well as GDPR, and a strong desire to learn how these regimes relate to both customer and employee personal data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and research on the latest trends, changes and development of Data Privacy laws and regulations and their implications
• Act as contact point for data privacy subjects, coordinate and track the status of different data privacy initiatives with stakeholders and offer related guidance
• Monitor internal policies and compliant processes for data protection, including with regards to collection, accuracy, retention, use, security, transparency, access and correction of personal data
• Understand the processes that involve handling of personal data and prepare materials and provide data privacy trainings
• Drive enforcement / controls / audits (by divisions and teams) of data privacy processes and SOPs.
• Support on Data Governance initiatives, establish data privacy in Customer & Employee Data Domain Governance Structure.

Key Requirements:

• Master’s degree in law, Business Administration or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years’ experience and knowledge in performing privacy impact assessment, privacy compliance assessments, design of data privacy policies and guidelines, personal data flow mapping and analysis, implementation of privacy training and awareness programs, experience with usage or implementation of privacy tools
• Experience in, and a strong passion for data privacy, big data and data governance
• Creative, collaborative, and able to identify roadblocks, envision solutions and work towards resolution
• Be persuasive with excellent verbal, written language and interpersonal communication skills
• CIPP, CIPM, CIPT or equivalent certification or qualification
