Job Description

The credit Line Ambassador is responsible to maximise Raffle ticket sales while providing excellent customer service. Accurately and efficiently process of sales transactions in line with company procedures. Perform all other sales, service and merchandise presentation related duties necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Management
• Achieve daily and monthly allocated sales targets
• Accurately handle payments for sales transactions
• Accurately perform daily balancing and closing of cash
• Utilise and build selling skills and knowledge on the Credit Line Products and Initiatives 2. Customer Service Excellence
• Approach and warmly greet all customers to make them feel welcome
• Identify customers’ needs by asking questions
• Be well-versed in the Credit Line initiatives and prizes to assist customers and handle customer queries
• Provide luxury standard customer service levels to all customers as defined by DFS selling skills training
• Assist customers by giving alternative choices of Credit Line Products
• Handle unhappy and difficult customers in a calm and collected manner, calling the Credit Line Supervisor for assistance when necessary
• Efficiently acknowledge and serve multiple customers at one time 3. Others
• Maintain knowledge of in-house policy and procedures to efficiently and accurately serve all customers’ transactions in line with company requirements
• Assist new team members to learn their role
• Ensure tickets are received and replenishment
• Provide Managers with customers’ feedback
• Consistently maintain housekeeping standards and ensure presentation of merchandise and display meets requirements
• Ensure work areas are neat, clean, hazard free and dust-free, reporting any maintenance or health and safety issues to your manager.
• General duties and tasks as requested by management

Key Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job • Minimum 1 year’s sales or cashiering experience in a retail environment • Proficient with handling a POS register machine • Able to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment • High energy level, have a positive approach to job and group responsibilities • Ability to work flexible hours / shifts, including weekends, nights and holidays. Able to work overtime hours when necessary • Fluency in English language and other language(s) as required by location • Secondary language speaking beneficial, but not required
