Job Description

DFS Australia is looking for a dynamic Consumer Marketing Manager to cover a 6 month maternity leave with future opportunity for a role in the wider DFS network. Working as part of the Global Marketing team you will manage external collateral and communication efforts to reinforce the luxury brand message of our DFS T Galleria stores in both Australia & New Zealand. This includes efforts to drive store traffic, increase spend, and build brand awareness for our emerging core customers as well as capitalize on existing brand awareness for our potential consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

•Managing the consumer marketing function across all Australian & New Zealand store locations
•Designing, implementing and managing marketing plans and strategies to achieve all set targets and objectives
•Establish new joint business partnerships to promote the DFS brand
•Create promotional programs to support new product and brand launches
•Plan & execute regular in-store events
•Designing, implementing and managing all DFS external communication including media and press statements.

Key Requirements:

• Global Mobility essential
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce and / or hospitality or equivalent required
•Minimum 5 -7 years marketing experience at management level
•Ability to build strong relationships and partnerships with local business, travel, retail and media partners.
•Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
•Drive and ability to deliver results in an effective and timely manner
•Strong leadership skills and the ability to work autonomously
•Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high pressure environment and ability to travel when required
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Mandarin language ability essential)
