Job Description

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Marketing professional to join our leadership team within our T Galleria store. Responsible for managing external collateral and communication efforts to reinforce the brand message of DFS, the Marketing Manager's role is to work directly and closely with creative/production agencies, media agency, copywriters, consultants, division sales and marketing partners and product merchants on effective and accurate customer proposition messages to drive store traffic and increase spending.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and executing the strategic marketing plan for T Galleria Auckland
• Leading market research efforts to uncover opportunities to drive traffic and sales to the Galleria
• Managing the marketing budget, including preparing budget request forms, monitoring of invoices and working with accounts payable to ensure all vendors are paid in a timely manner.
• Managing in-store Marketing events, from conceptualization to event preparations and recap.
• Developing partnerships with local partners to enhance current marketing partnership programs.
• Managing local social media agency to ensure the store's digital imprints are to standard

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role in retail marketing is required with experience in events desirable
• You must have an understanding of the NZ Chinese market including Chinese media
• BA in Marketing / Communication or similar degree essential
• Ability to build strong relationships and partnerships with local business, travel, retail and media partners.
• Sound knowledge of marketing practices, concepts and reach to FIT markets.
• Good knowledge and understanding of the luxury industry.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills including exceptional multi tasking and prioritisation skills
• Drive and ability to deliver results in an effective and timely manner
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a local and global team
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high pressure environment
